a lil update

hey, guys! i know it’s been quite a while since you’ve heard from me (and i apologize for that), but i just wanted to pop in and fill you all in on some stuff that’s been going on over my break. there are quite a few things to go over, so i’ll put it under a read more to save you (and your dashboard) some sanity ( ´ ω ` )

first off: horns & halos.

the series will be coming back eventually, but i want to warn you guys that it probably won’t be the same as it is currently. i got tired of apple’s nonsense and switched in my iphone for a new android about a month ago, and the app i used to make my social media aus is unfortunately only available on the apple app store. however!! that doesn’t mean horns & halos is over! because of the nature of the story and where i want it to go, i think it *should* be fairly easy for me to switch over and finish the series in a fully written format. that might not be preferable to some of you and i get that, but i’d really rather not leave you guys hanging while i’m trying to find a new way to create my aus. that being said, i’m still not quite ready for the series to start back up again just yet, and it’s for a reason i’m sure many of you also understand.

second: fall semester.

classes are starting back up again very soon, and my workload this semester is arguably going to be the heaviest it’s been in my entire college career. i’m taking the last three classes i need before i can apply for the nursing program, so my focus is primarily going to be on studying and doing everything i can to make sure i do as well as possible. it doesn’t mean i won’t be updating or active! it just means that if i have to choose between reviewing my notes versus working on a fic or series, i’m probably going to choose the former. i’m gonna try my best to find some sort of balance between the two, and hopefully i’ll be at least remotely successful (o´∀`o)

and, finally: 1k celebration!!

don’t worry, i wasn’t showing up just to give you bad news! i reached one thousand followers on this blog (quite a while ago tbh,, sorry about that), and i wanted to finish one of the (several) wips i currently have sitting around to celebrate. however, i’m having a lot more trouble than i thought i would choosing which one i want to do for this occasion. so, i figured why not turn to you guys and let you decide? i’ve attached links to both my wips carrd and a poll for (what i’m calling) our 1k fic pick at the top of this post and down below. you’re free to click through, browse around, and see what i have ready so far before (hopefully!) submitting a response to let me know which fic you want to see!

i think that’s about it for now! i’m feeling much better than i did a few months ago, and i just want to thank you all for being so patient and sticking through it while i got myself together. my goal right now is to try and ease myself back into writing while i also prepare for the coming semester so i still may not be *as* active as i’ve been in the past, but i’m gonna try to pop in as often as i can! thank you all so much for supporting me, for reading my work, and for being the amazing people that you all are. i hope you have an incredible day/night, and i’ll see you guys soon ♡
